  • Items from the commissary: special food, snacks, candy, ramen, coffee, and more. Even though the list sounded terrible, it is probably a very welcome break from the monotony of their all-turkey diet.  No, seriously: the sheriff told me everything is made of turkey--all the chicken, all the beef--it's all turkey!!  Plus they serve meals at really weird times (like breakfast at 4 AM)  And I think they can eat the commissary items whenever.
  • Personal hygiene supplies.
  • He must buy stationery for sending mail.
  • Phone Cards! They come in $10 and $25 increments.  It's better to go with more, for long distance.
